Internship: Spacecraft Operations Test Campaigns Framework

About the role

Aerospacelab, a vertically integrated small satellite company founded in 2018, is looking for an intern within its Satellite Operations team in Toulouse. Before each launch, spacecraft operations are validated through test campaigns ranging from functional and compatibility tests to technical and operational qualification; today these are largely rebuilt for every mission, which wastes time and makes results hard to compare. The intern's goal is to standardise the preparation of these campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Audit past launch campaigns and identify the common core for each testing level.
• Write campaign templates covering scope, entry and exit criteria, test lists and reporting.
• Work closely with ground segment teams to improve the testing setup.
• Set up a reusable framework for the test campaigns, supported by a shared testing infrastructure.

Required profile

• Student in systems or aerospace engineering with an interest in verification and operations.

Deliverables

• Campaign templates per level.
• A reusable test framework.
• A first campaign run with the new framework.

What we offer

• A career path built around direct impact on the company's growth.
• A flat hierarchy and fast-paced environment.
• Flexible ways of working.
• A salary package consistent with your experience.
