Internship - Finance/HR Business Analyst (M/F)

About the role

Air Liquide Shared Services (ALSP), one of the Air Liquide Group's four main business service centres, provides accounting, HR administration and payroll services to the Group's French subsidiaries. Reporting to the Finance and HR teams, the intern acts as a business partner, driving team performance and streamlining processes through data, automation and AI. The internship lasts 6 months and starts in January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Data architecture and visualization: ensure data quality, turn business needs into dashboards in Power BI and Looker Studio, and build operational reports in Google Sheets.
• Automation: build custom scripts with Google Apps Script and business apps with AppSheet, and automate repetitive tasks across Workspace tools.
• Data innovation and generative AI: design conversational assistants with Gemini, build AI-integrated workflows with Workspace Studio, implement sentiment and semantic analysis on employee feedback, and train teams on AI adoption.
• Cross-functional work: gather needs from managers and stakeholders, help teams adopt new solutions, prepare KPIs and SLAs for executives, maintain and improve deployed tools, and comply with Group charters such as Brand Guidelines and AI usage.

Required profile

• Student at a business school, engineering school or specialized master's programme (final-year internship or gap year).
• Curious, motivated to learn, with strong analytical, synthesis, listening and communication skills.
• Initial experience in project management (academic or practical) and/or data analytics.
• Fluent French for daily communication and comfortable English with international colleagues.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
• Hands-on Power BI (data visualization, Power Query, DAX).
• Solid working knowledge of JavaScript, ideally Google Apps Script.
• Bonus: other visualization tools (Tableau, Periscope, Qlik), programming concepts, financial concepts and business terminology.
