Internal Auditor

About the role

Reporting to the Internal Audit Director, you will conduct internal audit assignments across Newrest’s global subsidiaries. The role involves close interaction with senior executives to ensure the integrity of accounting and financial processes while supporting the Group’s risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial, tax, legal and IT tool audits to assess and control risks.
• Collaborate with country finance teams and directors to develop and monitor 100‑day action plans based on audit findings.
• Prepare and present audit reports to the CEO, communicating results and recommendations.
• Lead various missions such as due diligence, compliance, migration, training, forensic audits, and act as project manager for new country openings.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to subsidiaries worldwide.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Accounting, Finance or Audit.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal and external auditing, preferably at a senior level within a Big Four firm.
• Fluent English; additional language proficiency (Spanish or French) is highly valued.
• Willingness to relocate and undertake expatriation projects.

• Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies and risk assessment.

• Ability to produce clear audit reports and present findings to senior management.
