Insurance Legal Counsel

About the role

Alan is building a new standard in prevention insurance and needs a qualified legal professional to protect its competitive edge and ensure regulatory compliance. As an Insurance Legal Counsel you will work closely with senior legal teammates and business units to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse regulatory requirements for Alan’s health and disability insurance products and advise on risk appetite.
• Support contractual negotiations with clients, partners and prospects, including RFP responses.
• Contribute to product design by ensuring pricing, options and user‑experience comply with legal standards.
• Translate regulatory obligations into operational processes, tools and compliance reporting.
• Assist with inspections, audits and compliance reporting to internal bodies.
• Participate in insurance compliance projects across France and, when needed, in other markets.

Required profile

• Legal professional with experience in insurance, regulatory compliance or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn legal constraints into business‑friendly solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proactive attitude toward risk management and compliance.
