Innovation Project Manager

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Innovation Project Manager to lead general studies for rotorcraft demonstrators within the Research & Innovation department at its Marignane site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small integrated team (3‑5 people) focused on aerodynamic, handling qualities, loads, vibrations and dynamics studies.
• Lead wind‑tunnel, vibration and dynamic ground‑test campaigns and analyse the results.
• Coordinate university and test‑center partnerships related to general studies.
• Drive ground and flight test campaigns for R&T demonstrators and analyse flight data.
• Oversee airworthiness activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards up to TRL6.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience designing complex aeronautical products.
• Proven leadership of design‑office engineers.
• Master’s degree in engineering (Bachelor+5) with a focus on aeronautics.
• Advanced knowledge of aeronautical technical rules, safety and airworthiness constraints.
• Professional level English.

Required skills

• Expertise in CATIA V5.
• Proficiency with VPM‑type PLM tools.
