About the role

Safran, a leading high‑technology group in aerospace, is looking for an Engineer specialized in test and validation of embedded systems. The position is based in Sèvres, France, and offers a permanent contract (CDI). You will join a team that ensures the reliability and safety of critical embedded software used in aircraft propulsion, equipment, and interior systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop test plans and validation procedures for embedded software components.
• Execute functional, integration, and performance tests on hardware‑in‑the‑loop platforms.
• Collect, analyse, and document test results, identifying defects and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with development, hardware, and system engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain test environments, tools, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and validation methodologies.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as aerospace or defense is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
