About the role

The client is looking for a Laser Welding Methods Engineer to support the deployment of laser welding technology for the assembly of galvanized steel components. The position is based in Lille and involves close collaboration with the client’s engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and optimise welding methods for laser welding of galvanized steel parts.
• Support the implementation of laser welding technology on the client’s production lines.
• Develop process parameters, test procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure quality and repeatability.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Experience in laser welding or related welding technologies.
• Knowledge of galvanized steel welding characteristics.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lille and interact with client teams.
