Human Resources Operations Specialist (Hybrid, France)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Operations Specialist to join our HR Shared Services team in France. The role is permanent, hybrid and will support multiple entities across the country, ensuring high‑quality HR service delivery throughout the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies, benefits, payroll, contracts and procedures.
• Manage HR cases via ticketing systems, email, phone and chat, providing guidance to employees and managers.
• Administer end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, contract changes, compensation updates, off‑boarding and benefits administration.
• Maintain accurate employee records, perform data validation and ensure compliance with French employment legislation.
• Prepare and validate payroll inputs, collaborate with payroll providers and internal stakeholders, and support payroll reconciliations and adjustments.
• Monitor service level agreements, track KPIs, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement process improvements and automation.
• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and best practices for HR operations.

Required profile

• Fluent French (C1 or higher) and strong English communication skills.
• Previous experience in HR Shared Services supporting a French employee population.
• Solid knowledge of French HR processes, employment legislation and payroll fundamentals.
• Proven ability to manage employee lifecycle administration and HR case management.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities with strong attention to detail and data confidentiality.

Required skills

• Experience with HR ticketing or case‑management systems.
• Familiarity with payroll coordination and data quality assurance.
• Ability to analyse service metrics and drive continuous improvement.
