Health & Safety Associate – Offshore Wind Projects

About the role

Ocean Winds is seeking a Health & Safety Associate to provide HSE expertise for its French offshore wind operations. You will ensure compliance with French legislation, company policies, and the global H&S Management System while supporting project teams across development, construction, and operation phases.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver HSE guidance, training, PPE management and project‑specific procedures for offshore wind projects.
• Conduct inspections, audits and site visits to verify safe work practices, risk assessments and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Maintain mandatory HSE documentation (DUERP, PAPRIPACT) and report in line with ISO standards.
• Support incident investigations, root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action implementation.
• Facilitate safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.
• Assist employee representatives and provide regular HSE updates to managers.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in HSE management or industrial risk management.
• Strong knowledge of French health & safety legislation and offshore wind/construction regulations.
• Proven experience in HSE reporting, audits and formal compliance processes.

Required skills
