Head of Training Strategy

About the role

Cloudera is looking for a Head of Training Strategy to define and drive the growth of its training business across EMEA. The role will act as the voice of the market, shaping offerings to meet emerging trends such as AI and data, and building scalable routes to market.

Key responsibilities

• Own the EMEA training strategy, aligning offerings to market demand, emerging trends, and regional priorities.
• Translate customer needs, field feedback, and delivery experience into clear requirements for training content and portfolio evolution.
• Shape the training portfolio with enablement and content teams to ensure relevance, scalability, and commercial viability.
• Build and scale a focused training ecosystem, including partners, academic institutions, and strategic alliances.
• Identify and activate new demand channels such as enterprise L&D budgets, workforce transformation programs, and public‑sector initiatives.
• Establish a structured feedback loop on training performance to continuously improve offerings.

Required profile

• Strong background in Professional Services or Consulting roles.
• Proven ability to translate market needs into structured offerings or programs.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders (sales, delivery, product/enablement).
• Strong commercial awareness of how services and training drive revenue.
• Experience with partnerships, ecosystem development, or education programs is a strong advantage.
• Highly proactive, structured, and comfortable operating in an evolving environment.
