Head of Innovation – Plant‑Based Food Brand

About the role
La Vie is seeking a dynamic Head of Innovation to accelerate growth across France, the UK and export markets. Reporting to the CMO and working closely with the executive committee, you will own the end‑to‑end innovation process, from strategic insight to product launch.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute La Vie’s innovation strategy based on consumer insights, market trends and competitive analysis.
- Build a robust, financially sound innovation pipeline covering new product development, range extensions and category expansion.
- Develop business cases and prioritize initiatives with clear impact, feasibility and ROI.
- Lead cross‑functional teams (R&D, Operations, PMO, external partners) to deliver projects on time, on budget and to high quality standards.
- Manage and develop a small Innovation team, fostering a culture of consumer‑centricity and rigorous execution.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in FMCG innovation, preferably within plant‑based or food categories.
- Proven track record of taking concepts from insight to market launch.
- Strong strategic and analytical abilities, comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative research.
- Ability to translate data into clear strategic direction and business decisions.
