Head of General Ledger Accounting – France

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a senior finance professional to lead its General Ledger Accounting function for ADS SAS and its French subsidiaries. Based in Toulouse, you will oversee the end‑to‑end accounting process, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the General Ledger team and manage month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close cycles.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS, French GAAP and Airbus Group policies.
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations using Airbus tools such as ICART and FACTS+.
• Collaborate with the Consolidation team and support internal and external audit activities.
• Supervise tax declarations (TVA, TVTS‑CFE‑CVAE) in partnership with the group tax team.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation and SAP migration projects.
• Ensure internal controls, segregation of duties and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial accounting, month‑end closing and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, French GAAP and Airbus Group accounting rules.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
