Group Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group Controller to lead day‑to‑day financial operations across our French and international entities. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will work closely with a five‑person finance team and support the integration of recent acquisitions in France and the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly consolidated reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate annual financial statement preparation, including IFRS consolidation and transfer pricing.
• Manage accounting operations such as billing, A/R, A/P, general ledger, revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and cash collection.
• Lead the reinternalization of the US acquisition closing process and act as primary contact for external auditors.
• Drive the upcoming ERP implementation and contribute to due‑diligence, refinancing, or exit processes.
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, and short‑term cash‑flow forecasting with the FP&A analyst and CFO.
• Document and improve intercompany accounting procedures and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in a multi‑entity group, LBO, or SaaS environment.
• Strong technical grounding in accounting and controls, preferably from audit or transaction services.
• Fluent in French and English, comfortable interacting with teams in France, the US, and the UK.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a high‑growth, fast‑paced setting.
• Deep knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and corporate governance.
