Group Capex Controller

About the role

The Capex Financial Controller joins the Group Finance team to ensure high‑quality financial information on capital expenditures across the Group. Reporting to the Executive Committee and external shareholders, the role acts as a business partner for Construction and Operations, driving budget follow‑up, risk assessment and best‑practice standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate purchase order processes, ensuring correct analytical coding and allocation controls.
• Structure multi‑year and annual budget follow‑up for each project and reconcile paid capex with accounting, debt drawdowns and bank statements.
• Collect, formalise and review monthly internal and shareholder capex reporting, linking invoiced amounts to physical progress.
• Support quarterly board presentations with actuals and re‑forecasts, and contribute to the yearly Business Plan update.
• Collaborate with Construction, Operations and Consolidation teams to identify budget overruns, forecast invoicing and provide inputs for SOX controls.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling or audit, preferably with exposure to construction projects.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong analytical, organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional integrity and ability to work under pressure.
