Graduate Purchasing Manager – Equipment & Systems

About the role

Join Airbus’s Global Graduate Programme as a Graduate Purchasing Manager focused on equipment and systems. Starting in October 2027, you will be immersed in a two‑year development journey that combines on‑the‑job responsibilities with structured training to build your procurement expertise and leadership potential.

Key responsibilities

• Organise procurement activities for one or several product packages, negotiating contractual frameworks to secure optimal purchasing conditions.
• Lead sourcing actions, manage calls for tenders and conduct contract negotiations with suppliers.
• Monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle – from innovation and development to series production and support – ensuring full compliance with terms.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers such as Honeywell, Collins Aerospace, SAFRAN and GE Aerospace.
• Participate in multi‑functional teams (MFTs) and research & technology MFTs.
• Collaborate with customer service representatives to define and implement Airbus aftermarket strategies, creating value for customers.
• Support the end‑to‑end aircraft lifecycle, from design through production to operational support, within various procurement teams.
• Complete at least one rotational placement to broaden exposure across the procurement function.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Procurement, Engineering or equivalent.
• Recent graduate or limited professional experience in purchasing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Motivation to work collaboratively and drive future innovation.
• Self‑awareness and a proactive attitude toward personal development.
