Global eCommerce Director

About the role

The Global eCommerce Director will define and execute the company’s digital commerce strategy across multiple markets. This hands‑on leadership role sits at the intersection of e‑commerce, digital acquisition, and business performance, collaborating with global marketing, sales, product, technology, data and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global e‑commerce strategy, focusing on customer acquisition, conversion optimisation and digital sales growth.
• Own and steer the full digital acquisition mix across markets, including SEO, SEA, paid media, affiliation and emerging AI‑driven search channels.
• Drive performance across all digital touchpoints with clear business outcomes (revenue, ROAS, CAC, conversion rate).
• Lead a direct team of four specialists while influencing a broader cross‑functional community.
• Contribute to platform roadmap decisions, replatforming initiatives and the evolution of the digital commerce architecture.
• Establish performance frameworks, reporting and governance to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required profile

• 8 to 12 years of experience in e‑commerce and digital marketing with a proven track record of driving online revenue growth.
• Experience within a major e‑commerce actor with an international scope.
• Solid hands‑on expertise across digital acquisition levers combined with a strong business and P&L mindset.
• Comfortable working at the intersection of marketing, technology and data.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
