Global Business Controller – Otometrics

About the role

The Global Business Controller Otometrics is a senior finance leadership position that combines international accounting oversight with strategic partnership for the Hearing & Balance business. Reporting to the Global Controller, you will work closely with senior leaders to drive performance, ensure compliance, and provide actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner for the Hearing & Balance leadership team, supporting decisions on revenue, gross margin and operating expenses.
• Lead monthly results reporting, forecasts, variance analysis and performance dashboards.
• Own the H&B budget, forecast and strategic planning process, aligning operational plans with financial targets.
• Provide financial modelling for product launches, cost‑optimization projects and strategic investments.
• Promote financial discipline, transparency and accountability across the organization.
• Oversee accounting for international legal entities in Europe and Asia, ensuring statutory compliance and accurate filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, manage audit planning and resolve issues.
• Review key accounting judgments, balance‑sheet accounts and close activities for consistency with corporate policies.
• Support the Global Controller on policy implementation, process improvements and special projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience with statutory reporting, audits and regulatory requirements across multiple countries.
• Strong analytical ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with senior business leaders.
