Global Account Manager – Insurance (EMEA)

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a world‑class Global Account Manager to lead the relationship with one of the largest insurance companies worldwide. You will shape the customer’s cloud and AI adoption strategy across multiple geographies, driving transformational outcomes while meeting ambitious revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and sustain senior‑level relationships across the insurer’s global organization, including C‑suite, IT, and business unit leaders.
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of cloud‑related opportunities, coordinating global resources and monitoring deployment projects.
• Lead the creation of long‑term cloud strategies, advising on AI/ML, generative AI and data‑analytics solutions.
• Coordinate Executive Business Reviews and drive value creation and growth.
• Negotiate and close high‑value, multi‑year commercial agreements such as Enterprise Discount Programs and Strategic Collaboration Agreements.
• Collaborate with internal AWS teams—Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Partner teams, and specialist overlays—to deliver customer goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, global enterprise accounts in the financial services or insurance sector.
• Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving ambitious sales and financial targets.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
