Full-time Innovation Faculty – Teaching‑Oriented Professor

About the role

emlyon business school seeks a full‑time faculty member to lead Innovation teaching and research at the Associate/Full Professor level. The position starts in September 2027 and is designed for candidates with a strong pedagogical focus on action learning, experiential education, and real‑world project‑based teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver undergraduate, graduate, and master‑level courses in Innovation and Innovation Management, primarily on the Lyon campus.
• Design and coordinate action‑based learning experiences linked to corporate, startup, and NGO partners.
• Collaborate with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the InvEnt Research Centre to expand research output in high‑impact journals.
• Contribute to curriculum design, program management, and institutional service activities.
• Engage with external partners to enhance the school’s strategic positioning of action learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project‑based pedagogy, live business cases, or learning‑by‑doing models.
• Strong connections with business or institutional partners.
• Ability to design highly engaging, applied learning courses.
• Willingness to contribute to the school’s strategic initiatives and to relocate to Lyon (relocation support provided).
• Fluency in English; French is a plus but not mandatory.
