Full Professor in Accounting & Corporate Finance (Research-Driven)

About the role

emlyon business school seeks a full‑time Full Professor in Accounting and Corporate Finance, starting September 2027. The successful candidate will lead cutting‑edge research, enhance the school’s international visibility, and deliver innovative, action‑based learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑impact research in corporate finance and publish in top‑tier journals.
• Develop and expand the corporate finance research team and contribute to affiliated research centres.
• Design and teach undergraduate (BBA), graduate (Programme Grande École), and master‑level courses, primarily on the Lyon campus.
• Supervise doctoral candidates and collaborate on funded research projects.
• Participate in institutional service, including curriculum design, program management, and external representation.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Finance with a focus on corporate finance.
• Proven record of publications in FT‑list or equivalent top‑tier journals.
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to support doctoral supervision.
• Interest in pedagogical innovation and program development.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to relocate to Lyon (relocation support provided).
