French‑Speaking Social Media Content Moderator – Athens

About the role

Mercier Consultancy Group is looking for French‑speaking Social Media Content Moderators to work on‑site in Athens, Greece. You will join a fast‑paced, high‑profile social media operation, helping to keep online communities safe, inclusive and compliant with platform standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, assess and moderate user‑generated content in French across multiple social platforms.
• Identify and act on harmful, abusive, misleading or policy‑violating material such as hate speech, graphic content, misinformation and spam.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to senior moderation teams following established workflows.
• Monitor emerging trends and threats to proactively protect platform integrity.
• Document decisions accurately in internal moderation tools and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Quality Assurance and Training teams to continuously improve moderation standards.
• Participate in calibration sessions, briefings and ongoing training to stay aligned with policy updates.

Required profile

• Native or fluent French (spoken and written).
• Valid EU passport or work authorization for Greece.
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms, digital content formats and online community dynamics.
