French/English Bilingual Content Reviewer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a French/English bilingual expert to evaluate AI‑generated French content. This contract position is fully remote and offers flexible, project‑based hours.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated French text for accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, and linguistic consistency.
• Identify and correct errors in grammar, semantics, pragmatics, tone, localization, and conceptual understanding across French and English content.
• Provide detailed, actionable feedback and create high‑quality explanations, prompts, and model revisions.
• Compare and rank AI responses based on correctness, fluency, contextual relevance, and reasoning.
• Fact‑check information and ensure outputs are culturally appropriate for French‑speaking audiences.
• Document findings to support AI model improvement and maintain high linguistic quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, French, Translation/Localization, Communications, or a related field.
• Native or near‑native French proficiency (C2) with strong English proficiency (C1 or above).
• Extensive knowledge of French grammar, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and stylistic adaptation.
• Experience applying French style guides, punctuation conventions, terminology management, and localization best practices.
• Reliable, self‑directed work style with a track record of delivering high‑quality output in remote contractor environments.
• Previous experience in AI data training, annotation, editorial QA, translation/localization QA, or professional editing is strongly preferred.
