Freelance Tech Recruiter

About the role

amo is looking for a freelance Tech Recruiter to join its hiring team as an early member, taking part in recruitment strategy discussions and talent decisions during the early stages of a product-centric company. In the first months you will work closely with the founding team and gradually take ownership of key hiring areas. The role is based in Paris and requires full-time onsite presence at the Opéra office.

Key responsibilities

• Talent acquisition and partnership: work with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, ideal profiles and interview strategies, and advise on sourcing, compensation and hiring best practices.
• Full-cycle recruiting: own the process from sourcing to closing, building pipelines proactively.
• Sourcing and candidate engagement: find and engage iOS, Android, backend, SRE and product engineers in a competitive market.
• Process improvement: help design and refine recruiting workflows that are smooth and scalable.
• Candidate experience and employer branding: deliver a personalised candidate experience and represent amo's values and culture.
• Market insights: share talent-market trends and compensation benchmarks with hiring managers and leadership.
• Own the quality of candidate experience, pipeline health and key recruiting metrics.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience hiring technical talent in fast-paced environments such as startups, tech companies or agencies.
• Strong end-to-end recruiting skills with a track record of delivering high-quality hires quickly.
• Excellent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders, high attention to detail, autonomy and an ownership mindset.
• Bonus: experience with early-stage tech teams, familiarity with mobile engineering profiles, and a mix of agency and in-house recruiting experience.
