Freelance Commercial – France

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven freelance commercial professional based in France to generate qualified participants and sponsorship revenue for the CAMEPT conference across African markets. The role is fully commission‑based and runs for three months.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach IFIs, ministries, and private companies in mining, energy and transport sectors in each target country.
• Present the CAMEPT project, PNCD initiatives and ROI to decision‑makers.
• Negotiate and close sponsorship contracts (Platinum 50 M FCFA, Gold 30 M FCFA, Silver 15 M FCFA).
• Secure letters of intent, partnership agreements and participation contracts.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of 50‑100 qualified participants per country.
• Provide weekly reports on pipeline, signed deals and registrations via Slack or email.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in mining, energy or finance.
• Established network of public and private decision‑makers, IFIs and banks in your country.
• Fluent in French and English; additional local languages (Arabic, Portuguese) a plus.
• Highly autonomous, proactive and comfortable working on a commission‑only model.

• 100 % commission on signed sponsorship revenue (10 % of contract value).
• Travel allowance of 100 k FCFA at start of assignment.
