France Controller – Finance Leader (Paris)

About the role

The France Controller will act as the trusted right‑hand to the CFO France & Aviation, overseeing financial performance, reporting and control for all French entities of Babcock International. Based in Paris, the role combines strategic business partnership with strong governance and treasury responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting under IFRS and French GAAP.
• Coordinate with Group Consolidation teams and ensure timely statutory and Group reporting.
• Oversee controlling, treasury, tax and related finance activities, ensuring compliance with Group policies.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks, manage audit coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise treasury operations, support structured financing and drive cash‑flow optimisation.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic decisions, including investments and M&A.
• Lead and develop a controlling and FP&A team of three professionals.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive senior finance experience (Controller, FP&A Lead, Finance Director) in the aerospace or defence sector.
• Strong expertise in IFRS and French GAAP, with knowledge of IFRS 15 considered a plus.
• Proven experience in multinational, matrix environments and finance transformation projects.
