FPSO QA/QC Management Services

About the role

Comsip, a subsidiary of VINCI Energies Oil & Gas, is recruiting for an FPSO QA/QC management services position. The service holder promotes quality in the project, advises on quality, supports the project management team in organizing, implementing and auditing quality procedures, leads the project's quality culture programme and takes part in the hook-up, installation and offshore commissioning phases. The role is based in Paris for 1 year, then 18 to 24 months in Singapore and 18 months in Geoje, South Korea, with a residential status.

Key responsibilities

• Promote quality in the project and give quality advice
• Assist the project management team in organizing, implementing and auditing quality procedures
• Lead and support the project quality culture deployment programme
• Take part in the hook-up, installation and offshore commissioning phases
• Support and implement project HSE site instructions and policies, and carry out HSE inspections and audits
• Report HSE anomalies, incidents and near misses, and ensure office security and safety
• Supervise the Quality/PMT workforce and functionally supervise QA/QC leaders and engineers
• Investigate problems in the application of the project QMS and propose improvements
• Review contractors', subcontractors' and suppliers' inspection and test plans and contractor key documents such as quality plans and audit schedules
• Ensure confidentiality of quality management documentation and prepare lessons-learnt sessions and debriefings

Required profile

• Professional experience of 10 to 20 years, including 10 years at the same or equivalent level with managerial responsibilities
• Diploma of engineer or equivalent
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment
