Founding Engineer – Precision Health Platform

About the role

Alan is building a new standard in preventive health insurance and needs a Founding Engineer to lead the development of Alan Precision, an AI‑driven platform that turns biological, wearable and lifestyle data into personalized health protocols. You will work side‑by‑side with the CTO of the original ARO team, owning end‑to‑end product features for a user base of over one million members.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch core components of the Alan Precision platform, from data ingestion to AI‑driven recommendation engines.
• Collaborate with physicians, data scientists and product managers to translate health insights into scalable software solutions.
• Define architecture, set coding standards and ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Lead testing, monitoring and continuous improvement cycles based on real‑world user feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers and help shape the engineering culture of a fast‑moving startup within a unicorn environment.

Required profile

• Strong experience building end‑to‑end health or data‑intensive applications.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a lean, fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for preventive health and a desire to impact millions of users.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
