Flight Test Operations Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Flight Test Operations Engineer to join its Flight & Integration Test Centre in Toulouse, France. You will work in the Flight Test Operation Control Center and the Flight Operations Engineering group, supporting the Airline Flight Operations Testing expert in building the technological foundations that drive operational improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze flight operations and propose improvements through new technologies, policy guidance and risk management.
• Conduct technology watch (optimization, networking, simulation) and assess the usability of business APIs and services.
• Build Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Prototypes (MVPs) for flight deck and desktop operational tools.
• Act as Business/Product Owner for tooling development following Airbus legacy processes.
• Contribute to long-term strategic roadmaps and run technology dissemination workshops.

Required profile

• Engineering background (software development) or data analytics.
• Experience in data analytics, modeling and AI models; airline, flight operations engineering and aircraft systems experience is a plus.
• Team player with a customer-oriented mindset, able to explain and train others.
• Advanced level in English and French.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript and AppScript.
• Experience in Google and SkyWise environments.
