Flight Test Operations Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Flight Test Operations Engineer to join the Flight & Integration Test Centre in Toulouse. You will work within the Flight Test Operation Control Center and the Flight Operations Engineering group, supporting airline flight operations testing and driving operational improvements through technology.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze flight operations and propose improvements using new technologies, policy guidance, and risk management.
• Conduct technology watch on optimisation, networking and simulation, and assess usability of business APIs and services.
• Build proofs of concept and minimum viable prototypes for flight‑deck and desktop operational tools.
• Act as Business/Product Owner for tooling development following Airbus legacy processes.
• Contribute to long‑term strategic roadmaps and lead technology dissemination workshops.

Required profile

• Engineering background in software development or data analytics.
• Experience with data analytics, modelling and AI, preferably in airline or flight‑operations contexts.
• Customer‑oriented mindset, strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French.
