Flight Test Equipment Designer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Flight Test Equipment Designer to join its Flight Test Center in Toulouse. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to design, develop and deploy innovative vision and instrumentation solutions for test benches and test aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate the computer‑vision architecture chain from sensor to usable data.
• Design embedded electronic and optronic solutions in collaboration with vision teams.
• Work with the image‑processing team to deliver optimal global solutions.
• Interface with test specialists to capture and define measurement requirements.
• Provide technical support to aircraft teams for operational maintenance of systems.

Required profile

• Engineering background in electronics, telecommunications, embedded systems or testing.
• Experience designing embedded electronic components and characterising sensors.
• Proven track record developing, integrating and testing vision and instrumentation systems.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French for a transnational, multicultural environment.
