Fleet Sales Executive - EV Charging

About the role

Virta, a leading global EV charging platform and charging network, is looking for a Sales Executive to drive its business expansion in France with a strong focus on the fleet market. You will lead sales activities for fleet customers, secure growth in the local market and help establish Virta as a key player in the region. You will report directly to the Sales Director, Europe West, and work alongside experienced sales teams across Europe and with product and technology experts.

Key responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and educate them on how Virta's comprehensive platform solution can help them build a successful EV charging business.
• Drive new sales development in France, acquiring new fleet customers and expanding market reach.
• Take ownership of the sales process, from prospecting and forecasting to closing deals, and work towards ambitious sales targets.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities to ensure a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
• Work collaboratively with product development teams.

Required profile

• Proven sales professional with a track record of selling complex solutions in a SaaS or service-based organisation, managing several sales cycles at once.
• 3+ years of experience in the passenger car or heavy-duty fleet industry.
• Strong understanding and existing network in the fleet industry; ability to engage C-level decision-makers and key stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and French; Italian and Spanish skills are a strong plus.
• Legal right to work in the EU; willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.

Required skills

• Sales methodologies such as MEDDIC / SPIN.
• Digital sales tools such as HubSpot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Presentation, business proposal and financial calculation skills, including discovery workshops with Microsoft Office and Claude.
