FinCrime Risk Manager – AML

About the role

Revolut is seeking a FinCrime Risk Manager to lead anti‑money‑laundering (AML) efforts across multiple product lines and markets. The role sits in the Financial Crime Operations team and provides first‑line‑defence expertise, advisory, and control testing to ensure regulatory compliance and protect customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AML controls aligned with regulatory requirements across global markets.
• Provide AML advisory on new products, jurisdictions, and features, ensuring early risk identification and mitigation.
• Support audit and regulatory engagements by articulating Revolut’s control frameworks.
• Conduct control testing and quality assurance to validate design and operating effectiveness of AML controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to make AML controls effective, measurable, and customer‑centric.
• Identify and remediate control issues that could negatively impact customers, such as inappropriate off‑boarding or transaction blocks.
• Maintain AML management information dashboards and documentation for internal governance and external transparency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an AML subject‑matter expert within a first‑line‑defence risk advisory or control team.
• Track record of AML advisory for retail and business banking or fintech products.
• Deep knowledge of AML typologies, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, identifying control gaps, and driving remediation.
• Understanding of modern financial products, including crypto and investment features.
