Financial Controller – HR Focus

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller with a strong Human Resources focus to join our Controlling team. Reporting to the Head of Controlling, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis of workforce‑related costs, ensuring accurate allocation across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and analyse personnel cost budgets, forecasts and long‑term cost projections.
• Maintain and improve FTE‑based allocation methodologies and allocation keys for reporting.
• Translate hiring plans and workforce changes into financial impacts for budgets and forecasts.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to maintain workforce assumptions for financial planning.
• Support the development of resource‑management tools, processes and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly and annual workforce‑related reporting and develop KPI dashboards.
• Coordinate payroll accounting, validate entries and reconcile payroll figures with the General Ledger.

• Excellent communication skills to interface with Finance, HR and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
