Financial Controller – France

About the role

Join Suntory Global Spirits as a Financial Controller for France, supporting the finance team in delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with company standards. You will work in an international environment, collaborating with the EMEA headquarters in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for France in accordance with SP GAAP and IFRS.
• Conduct monthly account reviews, reconcile and control balance‑sheet and income‑statement items.
• Review and manage alcohol tax obligations.
• Act as a business partner for internal interfaces and ensure statutory requirements are met.
• Monitor compliance with company guidelines and cooperate with tax advisors and auditors.
• Participate in finance‑area simplification and standardisation projects.

Required profile

• Completed commercial training or a university degree in finance.
• 3‑4 years of professional accounting experience, including preparation of monthly and annual statements.
• Strong service mentality, independent working style, and ability to think departmentally.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP R3 FI and SAP BW/EDW.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
