Financial Analyst – Remote (France)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join our team remotely from anywhere in France. In this position you will support data‑driven financial planning, help interpret market trends, and provide actionable insights that influence strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data, business performance and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets and variance analyses.
• Develop and maintain financial models for evaluating opportunities, costs and investments.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend actions to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting, planning and forecasting.
• Conduct profitability, cost and revenue analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support month‑end and year‑end reporting and assist with audit processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and concisely.

Required profile

• 1–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, corporate finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling techniques.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English; French language skills are highly desirable.
• Based in France with legal authorization to work full‑time.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial planning or business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other financial software.
