Finance MOA / Functional Process Owner SAP S/4HANA

About the role

Free2move is looking for a Finance MOA / Functional Process Owner to act as the functional bridge between Finance operational stakeholders and IT/Engineering teams on a dedicated SAP S/4HANA instance for its VaaS and Broker businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary functional expert for Finance teams (Accounting, AR/AP, Controlling, Treasury) and document business workflows across VaaS streams.
• Define functional posting logic, VAT rules, GL mapping, and data integration rules for interfaces with Nimda and Yooz.
• Establish data reconciliation routines, build E2E test scripts and lead UAT cycles with Finance key users.
• Drive change management, create user guides and train operational finance teams on new workflows.
• Manage the Finance enhancement backlog and collaborate with the Tech MOE on feasibility and solution design.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Business Analysis or Finance Process Ownership (MOA).
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO), Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Business Partner data and Fiori applications.
• Background in ERP carve‑outs, S/4HANA migrations or multi‑system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of O2C, P2P, R2R processes and financial reconciliation techniques.
• Fluent English and professional French; additional EU language is a plus.
