Field Clinical Specialist – Mitral Therapies (North-East Region)

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist for Mitral Therapies will support the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies business unit across the North‑East region. You will develop and deliver clinical education, certify centers and staff, and act as the technical liaison between physicians, key opinion leaders and Edwards Lifesciences.

Key responsibilities

• Certify hospitals, physicians and related staff according to Edwards Lifesciences SOPs.
• Interact with KOLs and proctors, providing device handling, implantation and troubleshooting education.
• Develop, update and deliver training curricula, materials and tools based on clinical trial experience.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and group training sessions for physicians, hospital personnel and sales teams.
• Provide post‑procedure technical support and follow‑up to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers to implement growth strategies and upsell in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field and monitor market and competitive activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in medical device or clinical settings, preferably as a CathLab Nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Training experience in a clinical or technical environment.
• Experience in interventional cardiology, structural heart or coronary procedures is strongly preferred.
• High flexibility for frequent regional travel.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
