Export Control Projects & Solutions Manager

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Export Control Projects & Solutions Manager to lead complex export‑control projects and drive the development of digital business applications that embed compliance into the company’s culture. Based in Toulouse, you will work within the Export Control Programme Office, reporting to the Head of Export Control Policies, Community and Performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance for transport and logistics providers by coordinating supply‑chain actions and negotiating export‑control clauses in procurement contracts.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews and site visits to identify red flags and assess the impact of supplier re‑branding on US export‑control licences.
• Support the development, deployment and continuous improvement of Airbus Commercial Transport and Logistic Applications.
• Lead the Global Export Control System (GECS) programme, defining requirements and guiding the creation of export‑control business applications across the organisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical digital solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in export‑control compliance, preferably within the aerospace or high‑tech sector.
• Strong understanding of US Export Control regulations and their impact on logistics and supply‑chain activities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on embedding compliance into business processes.
