Executive Driver – Secure Transport for Airbus Executives

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks an Executive Driver to join its Group Security Department in Toulouse. The role provides secure, confidential transportation for senior executives, board members and VIPs, while anticipating security risks.

Key responsibilities

• Secure physical transfers of VIP passengers, including boarding, landing and transition areas, with daily threat assessments and emergency evacuation protocols.
• Plan and validate travel logistics, producing site reconnaissance files, identifying fallback locations, medical centers and secure zones.
• Operate executive vehicles using defensive and tactical driving techniques, managing real‑time traffic disruptions.
• Maintain vehicle fleet readiness through daily technical and security inspections, maintenance logging and verification of emergency communications equipment.
• Coordinate transit operations with Airbus Internal Security and local law‑enforcement authorities during official VIP travel.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as an executive driver, VIP chauffeur or close‑protection specialist.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence (full points) and certified training in defensive/tactical driving.
• Active first‑aid certification (PSC1 or equivalent) and a valid Close Protection Agent card (A3P / CNAPS).
• Professional English fluency and proficiency with secure communications and geolocation tools.
• Eligibility for security clearance as required by authorities.
