Execution Engineer

About the role

Greenvolt Next France is looking for an Execution Engineer to lead the execution phase of decentralized renewable energy projects. You will coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities to deliver solar PV, storage and hybrid systems on time, within budget and in full compliance with technical, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee execution of solar PV, storage and hybrid projects from ready‑to‑build to commissioning and handover.
• Liaise with EPC contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure efficient delivery.
• Monitor construction progress, identify risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with technical designs, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Review and validate engineering designs, technical documentation and construction plans.
• Supervise site activities, conduct quality‑control inspections and manage contractor performance.
• Track project budgets, control costs and support financial reporting.
• Manage procurement and timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Support grid‑connection processes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare execution schedules, progress reports and internal documentation.
• Assist with commissioning, testing and handover to operations teams.
• Ensure adherence to French technical, environmental and construction regulations.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing execution of decentralized renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with French technical, environmental and construction regulations.
• Strong ability to coordinate EPC contractors, suppliers and internal multidisciplinary teams.
