EV Maintenance Engineer (France)

About the role

Electra is looking for an EV Maintenance Engineer to join its HQ Network Operations team in France. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the operational backbone that keeps the fast‑charging network running efficiently across multiple European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Support country teams in structuring partner ecosystems, assisting with tenders, contract design, cost analysis and renegotiations.
• Provide remote and on‑site assistance for complex maintenance situations and conduct operational audits.
• Act as the primary operational reference on maintenance standards and best practices.
• Analyze operational data to build benchmarks, track KPIs and deliver ad‑hoc insights for decision‑making.
• Develop cost models, identify optimization levers and contribute to make‑or‑buy analyses.
• Collaborate on spare‑parts strategy, supplier qualification, pricing benchmarks and inventory processes.
• Create and maintain operational frameworks, process documentation and knowledge‑sharing tools.

Required profile

• Experience supporting multi‑country maintenance operations in the EV or related infrastructure sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to work with operational data and cost models.
• Familiarity with contract management, tender processes and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent communication skills to serve as a subject‑matter expert for country teams.
