EU Commercial Vehicle Product Engineer / Lead

About the role

The position focuses on product engineering for commercial vehicles within the European market, combining market insight collection, product research, and direct customer support. The engineer will act as a technical bridge between customers, internal teams, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Gather front‑end market insights and exhibition information.
• Conduct terminal product research and maintain key customer relationships.
• Collect competing product data and provide debugging support.
• Collaborate on business trips, respond to time‑zone sensitive customer complaints, and coordinate sample deliveries.
• Support key functional analyses and act as an evaluation witness when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the European automotive industry, preferably with vehicle development exposure.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities; European driver’s licence preferred.
• Fluency in French and English; German and other languages are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure, deliver results, and maintain a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Solid technical foundation in new‑energy battery systems.
• Expertise in at least one area such as battery system integration, BMS (battery‑management system), thermal management, or electrical design.
• Experience with lithium‑battery development, testing, and implementation for commercial or passenger vehicles.
• Knowledge of power‑battery structure, performance parameters, and vehicle‑adaptation logic.
