Enterprise Packaging Value Director

About the role

Royal Canin is seeking an Enterprise Packaging Value Director to lead a strategic transformation of its packaging ecosystem. The role will drive integration, sustainability and agility across global functions, turning packaging from a compliance focus into a growth‑enabling capability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a prioritized roadmap for enterprise packaging transformation, aligning with growth, sustainability and agility goals.
• Chair the Packaging Program Board, ensuring clear prioritisation, sequencing and relentless delivery.
• Facilitate fast, repeatable decision pathways by preparing high‑quality scenarios and guiding decisions to the appropriate governance forums.
• Integrate demand, R&D, supply, graphics and market functions while preserving functional accountability.
• Provide outcome‑driven leadership through influence, escalating issues and maintaining execution pace without owning functional resources.
• Establish transparent reporting of progress, risks and inter‑dependencies, linking initiatives to measurable enterprise value.
• Identify and remove systemic blockers such as governance friction, legacy constraints and data quality issues.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in enterprise‑wide packaging or product transformation initiatives.
• Strong track record of influencing cross‑functional global teams and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic ambition into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Experience managing complex programs with a focus on sustainability, speed‑to‑market and complexity reduction.
