Engine Airworthiness Specialist

About the role

Sabena Technics in Blagnac is seeking an Engine Airworthiness Specialist to ensure the continued airworthiness of engines and APUs for a variety of aircraft types. The role supports aircraft transitions, redelivery processes and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse engine/APU records for second‑hand aircraft transitions, validating airworthiness and lease compliance.
• Manage the Discrepancy Item List closure and assist customers with commitment letters.
• Initiate and maintain status entries in the MIS database for CAMO integration.
• Prepare and update engine/APU status for redelivery to lessors, including documentation and reporting.
• Perform standard CAMO tasks such as AD/SB analysis, maintenance schedule monitoring, Kardex updates, work‑scope definition, MRO work‑package follow‑up, oil consumption trend analysis and part management.
• Support Airworthiness Reviews, ARC renewals, initial certification and flight permits.
• Conduct technical audits, shop visits, pre‑purchase inspections and produce related reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering (BAC+3 to BAC+5).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in continuing airworthiness, engine maintenance or related MRO activities.
• Familiarity with engine transaction processes, shop visits and CAMO operations.
