EMEA Service Director – Service Operations Lead

About the role

Leica Microsystems is seeking an experienced EMEA Service Director to lead its field service organization across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This senior position will drive profitable service growth, ensure high‑quality customer support, and oversee the installation and maintenance of cutting‑edge microscopy equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all LMS field operations in EMEA, including service revenue growth, equipment installations, and warranty repairs.
• Lead a team of ~120 staff members (Field Service Managers, Engineers, Customer Service Delivery, and Service Contract Sales) to meet performance, revenue and profit targets.
• Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
• Apply Danaher Business Systems tools in daily operations.
• Maintain knowledge of contractual obligations with customers, dealers and third‑party service partners.
• Own and optimize the regional Service P&L, achieving financial objectives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build, develop and manage a large service organization.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and root‑cause problem solving.
• Excellent relationship‑building, coaching, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Experience in leading cross‑functional teams and driving continuous improvement.
