EMEA Service Director – Lead Service Operations

About the role

Leica Microsystems is seeking an experienced EMEA Service Director to lead its field service organization across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This senior position will drive profitable growth, ensure high‑quality service delivery, and uphold the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction while operating remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all LMS field operations, including service revenue growth, equipment installations, and warranty repairs.
• Lead a team of approximately 120 staff members across Field Service Managers, Engineers, Customer Service Delivery, and Service Contract Sales.
• Own and optimize the regional Service P&L, meeting revenue and profit targets.
• Maintain contractual obligations with customers, dealers, and authorized third‑party service providers.
• Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
• Apply Danaher Business Systems tools in daily operations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build, develop, and manage large service organizations.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality improvement.
• Excellent relationship‑building, coaching, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Experience driving root‑cause analysis for product and process issues.
