Embedded / Simulation Software Integrator Engineer

About the role

Join Airbus Commercial Aircraft’s Avionics and Simulation Software department in Toulouse as an Embedded / Simulation Software Integrator Engineer. You will work within a dynamic software team developing critical embedded avionics and simulation solutions for all Airbus aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of real‑time avionics software, applying robust engineering methods.
• Verify that system requirements are correctly and completely implemented.
• Contribute to system qualification for customer acceptance and certification.
• Define and manage interfaces between functions, systems, and components.
• Design test strategies, prepare test environments, execute tests and analyse results using probes, bus analyzers and emulators.
• Perform integration and verification activities, including hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Support post‑deployment activities such as failure report analysis and customer issue resolution.

Required profile

• Experience in software integration for embedded critical operating systems.
• Familiarity with highly regulated environments (DO‑178B/C, DAL A‑C).
• Ability to balance technical, business and industrial considerations.
