Embedded C# Software Developer – NFC & EMV Testing

About the role

Fime is seeking an Embedded Engineer with strong C# development skills to join its NFC and contactless payments team. You will work on test solutions that support R&D for the world’s leading NFC chip, mobile, and payment terminal manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze EMV, NFC and ISO L1 analog & digital protocol behavior and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Design, develop and maintain test tools based on EMV L1 specifications and certification test plans for PICC & PCD analog and digital cases.
• Implement NFC Forum compliance test tools covering analogue, digital and WLC NFC tag testing.
• Integrate hardware instruments (oscilloscopes, signal amplifiers, RF measurement tools, protocol analyzers) into automated test environments.
• Perform waveform analysis, protocol validation, and debugging of analogue and digital communication signals.
• Develop software products using C# and .NET, write unit tests, and ensure product quality through qualification and non‑regression testing.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, external certification, QA and validation teams, and produce technical documentation and test reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics, embedded systems, computer science or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with EMV/NFC testing, protocol validation or test‑tool development.
• Proficiency in C# development and .NET technologies.
• Familiarity with EMVCo or NFC Forum certification processes.
