Email Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Email Marketing Manager to lead lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, subscriptions, and retention initiatives for a fast‑growing consumer brand in France. You will shape customer journeys, turn first‑time buyers into loyal advocates, and work closely with growth, creative, product, and customer experience teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale lifecycle marketing programs to improve retention, engagement, and revenue across multiple channels.
• Own email and SMS strategy, including campaign calendars, automated flows, and lifecycle communications.
• Build, optimize, and maintain customer journeys such as welcome, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post‑purchase, cross‑sell, upsell, subscription, win‑back, and re‑engagement flows.
• Manage SMS campaigns and automations, continuously improving engagement and conversion.
• Create advanced segmentation and personalization based on behavior, lifecycle stage, and engagement patterns.
• Collaborate with creative teams to produce compelling email and SMS content.
• Design and execute experimentation roadmaps covering subject lines, messaging, offers, timing, segmentation, personalization, creative assets, landing pages, and product recommendations.
• Analyze performance metrics, build reporting dashboards, and communicate actionable insights.
• Partner with Growth Marketing, Creative, Customer Experience, Product, CRO, and leadership teams to ensure consistent, impactful customer interactions.

Required profile

• Data‑driven lifecycle marketing professional with strong execution skills.
• Deep understanding of customer behavior and experience building high‑performing retention programs.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in lifecycle, email, or retention marketing roles.
• Advanced experience using Klaviyo for campaign management and segmentation.
