Electrical Design Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its robotics and automation integration team in Toulouse. You will design, size, and integrate electrical systems for complex, high‑value projects supporting industrial challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and pneumatic design and dimensioning using Eplan Electric P8 & Pro Panel.
• Supervise electrical design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Generate verification/validation plans and define maintenance strategies for industrial means.
• Design integration solutions in CATIA V5 based on station and aircraft environment constraints.
• Drive external suppliers' contributions and validate specifications for line integration.

Required profile

• Engineering background with solid experience in industrial electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of industrial means technologies and line integration.
• In‑depth knowledge of safety standards EN 60204-1 and EN 10218-1.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and teamwork skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced level in English; proficiency in French, Spanish or German is a plus.
